Upon returning from holiday traveling I was welcomed home to this! (scroll down to the bottom to see my photo!) That just made my day!! Thank you Life Images for publishing this photo and poem!

Since I had some photo strips left over I decided to make one more photo ornament to share with you. First I used a triangle chipboard banner by Maya Road.
Next, I placed my photo strips and journaling strips across the triangle and trimmed the excess.
Now you have your "tree" photo ornament.
Now just trim and embellish your ornament! I used some small garland and a Maya Road blossom!
Now for the fun part....here I used a small 2x2 acrylic square used to stamp with clear stamps (I found this one at Michaels for 99 cents). First I added some rubons and then glued it to the bottom of my tree to form the trunk! Here is the final product ready to be hung on a tree! Enjoy....and have a very Merry Christmas!!!

This is a little homemade ornament I made using some photos and some computer generated journaling. This is for my friend's new grandson who will celebrate his first Christmas!
Print your photos and journaling on a 6x4 photo paper and print. Cut into strips. Your strips should be 6 inches long.
Situate your strips alternating photos with journaling and place a brad through the top to hold.Two six inches strips should be across from each other so when you bring them together they are long enough to make the "ball".
Now fold strips and staple at bottom and secure with tape!
Now just decorate with some embellishments and hang!!

I am busy getting all my CHA-W projects done so I have been a bad blogger. I can't wait to share all the fun new items from Maya Road!! I did enjoy a day away with my girlfriends this weekend. We did some Christmas shopping in St. Charles/Geneva, Illinois. What a great place for some picture taking and some serious shopping! I didn't get to visit a couple of my favorite antique stores but that's okay...I will just have to make another trip!! Here are a few shots! I hope everyone is getting their shopping done!!

Bind-it-all just announced the winner of their contest. Although I didn't win the grand prize I was asked to submit three of my designs and at least one made it into the Bind-it-all idea book due out in January 2009. I am really excited about being published and representing a company/product that I absolutely LOVE!! Congratulations to Vicki for winning the grand prize and for all the other runners up!! I can't wait to see the idea book!!

So I decided to take my last two projects and make them into one project....and here it is! This is like the tree I made in the first project but with holes so I can add my battery operated light from my second project. I used Maya Road triangle banner coaster pieces again only this time I did not add a bottom to it.I sprayed each piece with Maya Road Mist (silver) added paper and trimmings and then punched holes with my Crop-a-dile. Next, I put my tree together using my craft glue, added the evergreen trim and place my tree over the electronic candle. Now I have a luminated Christmas tree!
