Hello everyone! Diane here, I thought it would be fun to scrap a favorite photo and memory from Christmas...many years ago. In an attempt to capture the perfect Santa picture I instead captures a scene from a holiday comedy. I smile at the scene I captured and the memory of the moment every time I see this photo and knew it was time to document the occasion.
I wanted to keep the layout simple with the focus on the photo and the story. I changed the photo to black and white and added only pops of red and a bit of silver accents.
The flair is from Hashtag Winter Flair set from the {a flair for buttons} shop. I love how versatile this set is; it can be used for both the holidays and winter!
For a few extra details I added some machine stitching and trim to my journaling card and background.
