Hello {a flair for buttons} fans and Happy New Year! I've been selecting a word to keep me focused on goals for several years and today I'm sharing my 2019 word...STORY! I haven't scrapped in months and I'm ready to start telling stories again and creating lots of memories in the year ahead for future stories too!
I used a photo of myself in my craft room since that is where I'll be pushing paper and embellishments around. For this layout I created a two page 6x8 spread. This is a new size to me and I had a lot of fun working in miniature. I think this size is going to work great for me in my current season of life.
I printed my word around the flair in my photo editing program and layered a colorful die cut behind the flair to help it pop.
On the second page of my layout I added lots of stitching and a plastic heart to bring some fun details to the 2-page spread and included the story of how I decided on my word for the year.
