I'm Damaris, one of the newest members to the AFFB DT, and I'm extremely excited to be here. Thank you Shelley, for trusting me to be a part of your awesome team!
Today I'm sharing a layout I made using Shimelle Lane's "Glitter Girl" by American Crafts. I love the bright bold colors in the collection and knew it would be perfectly paired with this black and white photo. The photo itself is of my son's Godfather and all his other God children. His wife (Godmother) wasn't at church that day, so she missed out on seeing them all together at once. But I thought the moment was so meaningful and worth documenting; which later became part of her birthday gift this year.
After creating this adorable page, I could not resist adding a fun bright flair. It just so happens that this set of "Just Hearts 2" flairs match this collection perfectly! You can check out this set, and others in the AFFB Etsy Shop. There's a ton of new flair designs you don't want to miss!
The layout is not complete until the journaling is added. I left the space at the top blank for the Godmother to fill in her own thoughts.
