Hi flair fans! It's Els again today.
I've been admiring some of those flower filled layouts you see on social media lately. I've always been a very big fan of flowers on my creative projects. So when I realized I still had an older Maggie Holmes ephemera pack full of cardstock and vellum flowers, I decided to give it a go.
This picture of our late cat Mira has been in my stash since forever, or so it seems. She was the perfect subject for what I had in mind.
I eyed out where I wanted to picture to go on my layout, and then started laying out the flowers above and underneath it. I moved them around a bit until I was happy with how they looked.
The flair I used are from the Chalkboard Valentine 2 set and the Inspirational Words 2 set. I feel like I keep coming back to a few favorite sets lately. Love that these are so versatile. Just a few more small embellishments here and there, and this layout was quickly finished.
I've been shopping my stash for a few weeks now, trying to use what I have before I buy new things, and I kind of like what I find in it so far. I hope you enjoyed this lovely bouquet as well this Monday morning ;)

Moikka! How's your February been so far? Good, I hope! February in Finland doesn't mean greenery just yet, but I'm still in spring kind of mood using a lot of green. Although I need to reveal that the color choice was actually due to the photo, not the season.
This page is done about my older daughter who is, like the title says, a little climbing monkey. She enjoys climbing to trees, monkey bars, climbing frames, poles, ropes and well, almost anything that can be climbed. And she's quite good at it, too! She can go up a rope in no time at all! The photo is from a couple of years back, but the story is still the same.
I was inspired by the green overall my daughter is wearing in the picture and used greens and yellows in the page. The flairs I chose as embellishments repeat the same joyous colors and spirit of the page and that of my daughter's as well. There's a green paper airplane, there's a sweet girl with a yellow bow, there's yellow chevron and multicolored tapes and a beautiful green butterfly.

Hi Orange Gearle here with a layout using some of my most favorite flair! When I saw the Rock On 3 flair in the shop I HAD to have it to document one of our most favorite activities -- going to concerts. Specifically I am highlighting my daughter's favorite band (and we kinda like 'em too). I also used a piece of flair from this flair set, which I used for the last layout I shared with you. Becoming Student of the Month requires its own layout, don't you think? I was a tad more excited that he was, but I am so proud of this boy!!! I used Photoplay's Boys Rule collection. I paired it with 3 different sets of flair. Dude Flair, Primary Colored Chevron Flair, and Red, Cream and Blue Flair. I love adding several onto a layout. The bring in depth and color.

Hi! Orange Gearle here with a layout for you using a few of my favorite flair! My daughter absolutely loves Michael Jackson. So much so that she just had to be "Smooth Criminal" Michael for Halloween -- complete with that blue shirt and white suit. When I saw this flair set in the shop, I knew it would be perfection.
I started with some Shimmerz Paints in the background. Then I created a star cut file, and backed the stars with various blue papers (mostly from Amy Tangerine and Shimelle papers). My thought was that I would have some flair peeking out from behind some of the stars and I love how it turned out! I added a few more stars and a title with products from Color Cast Designs. Here are a couple of close ups:

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new LO. I have a son and a daughter. I know a lot of you will relate when I say there is so much more scrapbooking products for girls than boys out there. So much of what I buy is pink, girly and flowery. Well here's the good news, take a peek at the AFFB store and you will see so many flair sets that are perfect for those boy LO's! Hiya! It's Riikka here today to share a layout with you. I've had this picture in my "scrapbook these" folder for some time now, but now I found the right background and groove for it. And naturally several good flairs to embellish the page!
The picture is taken some years ago in Tallinn. We walked by the old city wall and there was this gorgeous scene there. The old wall, almost falling apart, some aged planks (have no idea what structure that was, just to secure the wall?) and then modern city thing - graffiti. I was stunned because it all looked so intriguing and cool!
To mimic the grungy touch of the photo, I chose to go with a boldly patterned paper for the background. On top I added some paper strips, watercolor and stamping. When it got to the embellishing, I chose flair buttons that fitted the color palette and the grungy theme. There's chevron, a picture of an old structure (Arch de Triomphe), a cool black declaration of love and a grungy triangular one. Please see the used sets a bit further down.

Hi flair fans,
It's Els again today. Recently I tried cleaning out at least some of my mess in my craftroom, and of course I found all kinds of fun products I had totally forgotten about (and couldn't part from - what did you expect ;)).
So I decided to put all those treasures to good use and try to make a contemporary looking layout with some even years old products.
I happen to come to the conclusion that a lot of my old stuff still really 'works' well with some new(er) things mixed in.
I left the tags behind the picture unadhered, so I can add my journaling to them and can move them in and out as I want.
The flair I used are from the Chalkboard Valentines 2 set, and from the Succulent Love set. I always love a good black flair with a quote on it. They match with almost every project. The succulent one had the perfect color this time.
