Hey there, friends! Missy here, and I have a new layout to share with you today using flair buttons from the Emojis and Love You Flair sets. I decided to use up some of my stash, and I realized I hadn't used any of the Fancy Pants Happy Place collection yet. I pulled it out and couldn't wait to put all those fun colors together. I chose these two flair because they matched this collection perfectly as well as my photos. I found this sweet quote on Pinterest and arranged it in my Silhouette software. I chose this awesome black and white text paper as my background and covered a lot of it with white gesso. After it dried, I ran it through my Cameo to cut the quote. I used several Shimmerz Paints in matching colors to create all those beautiful watercolor splotches.I love backing cut files with patterned paper, and I used papers from the 6x6 Paper Pad and a few of the 3x4 card. I love this color scheme! I don't use navy blue a lot, but I need to start because I love how it looks with these bright colors. I machine stitched with white thread through all the lines and then added a cute little flower die cut with a few sequins. The sequins are from SpiegelMom Scraps.
I just love these Emoji flair! This one was perfect. There was a little dark circle on my photo where my arm curves around my daughter's neck, and the flair fit perfectly right there. I added some light pink thread under it. I added a fussy cut geometric heart, some tangled thread and more sequins here. I also added some tissue paper and adhesive foam under my photos for dimension as well as a few of the 3x4 cards.
Here is the other flair I used from the Love You set. I love the little typewriter, and the colors matched perfectly. I used a few die cut tabs here under the photo and added more cute die cuts and sequins.
Here's one final look at the big cut file title. I love the texture it creates. This is a great technique that will help take up lots of space on your page. Since it's fixed and can't be moved, it limits where you can put your photos and embellishments. This helps me a lot!
This was so much fun to make! I have a process video if you'd like to check out how I created it.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
