I'm not a fan of summer but I do enjoy the longer days, less activities (I love hockey but it goes on for-ev-er!) and just overall less stuff planned. That means more time for creating.
I threw together a few layouts during an impromptu get-together with a friend a couple of weeks ago and have been adding little bits and pieces to them ever since.
I finally finished these two this week.
I've been reminiscing lately and these two photos sum that up. My son will be 8 years old in a couple of weeks. In my mind, he's still the little blonde headed boy running around the park! He's now full of sass and he's this hockey player who dreams of playing in the NHL one day. And the cruise photo - this was one of the last big trips we took before finally having kids. Back then, I thought we were going full steam ahead and needed time to slow down. I look back now and miss the pace we had. NOW we are full steam ahead. One day runs into the other and before I know it, another week is over. I'd love to be back on that beach staring out into that water.
You can pick up your own arrow and word flair in the shop. I used the My Life Words flair for the Paradise layout:
And then any one of the arrow flair available in the shop would work!
There is something fun coming next week to the blog! I can't wait to see all the fun creations with these two lines! If you love Simple Stories, run over to the Etsy shop and grab your set of Summer Vibes flair!
