Happy Thursday, Flair Fans! It's Missy here. Today I'm sharing a very bright and bold page that just screams SUMMER! I started this layout with several Summer flair buttons in mind. I combined a few different collections on this page...the Shimelle line, American Crafts Plus One and Simple Stories Good Day, Sunshine. All of these are in my stash, and I always love using up what I have.
I did create a process video that shows my step-by-step process, which you can view down below. A little bit of explanation for this...I used some white gesso on my background to fade out some of the circles and then I used watercolors and gelatos smudged with plastic packaging to create my mixed media effect. I used SIX flair buttons from the shop...they are the perfect embellishment to add!
I have been hoarding this green #AHHHH button for a while now, and this was the perfect layout to use it on. I love the color, and I love the colors around it. That rainbow striped flair button was another one I've been wanting to use. What better page than a Summery one, right? I used some very old yellow glitter Thickers as part of my title.
Isn't this sun just adorable? It matched perfectly, and I used it right by my title since it is a picture of the sun :)
I used another Sunburst Brights button. I think I need more of those! They're so versatile and and be used on any type of project. I popped up that cute snowcone and then fussy cut the hearts from a Project Life type card.
Lastly, I used this adorable sky and clouds button from the Watercolors set. It's just the right one to use on the sun here.
