I have two layouts to share with you today...
Two completely different layouts, actually. But, they do have something in common...
COLOR!
That's right... Both of these layouts include Flair that was chosen based on color and not the words or imagery.
You see, if I have an adorable piece of owl Flair waiting for the perfect page about nature or eye glasses, or... well, you get the idea, right? That piece of Flair may never get used.
But, if I stop focusing on the specific image of an owl and see this as a piece of Flair with lovely neutrals on a bright white background, I am much more likely to use it!
So, what exactly does a train ride have to do with an owl? Not a whole lot! But, it totally works on this page due to the similarity in color.
Here is another example...
That soft pink Flair badge? The color is perfect on this layout! Of course, the word "enjoy" works too, but the color dictated the choice and I just love it!
