Sometimes we shy away from including clusters of embellishments for fear of overwhelming the layout. Using tone on tone items is a pretty easy way to add several embellishments to a layout without having the product over take the design.
This is one of those layouts where I let my product determine both my design and the photo I chose to use. I first chose the collection and then the flair buttons I wanted to use to embellish my page.
Because I was already using several patterns and textures I wanted to chose flair buttons that would blend into my design rather than pop off the page. The gold bokeh flair is from this gorgeous set. I may or may not be hearding the pinkie-silver one.
I hung on to this piecs of flair from the Lovely Words 6 set also. I'm glad I did, as it just perfect for this layout.
I have a feeling these Wood Chips Fall flair would be great for some of those Fall themed layouts you're likely to be working on these days. Fall photos have so many fabulous lush colours right in them, that tone-on-tone would be a great way to go when designing your layouts.
