Sometimes you just need a little something to ground an embellishment cluster. For me this is where flair buttons come in.
I like the way a peice of flair can really ground or anchor a grouping of embellishments. On this layout, I wanted the focus to be primarily on the journaling about the relationship between my 14 year old daughter and our dog Wilson. I discovered these photos of her on my phone, they are a handful of many, many "selfies" of the two of them taking up space on my phone. I decided it would be a great thing to document for her to look back on years from now.
That cute camera buttons is perfect for the theme of my layout and works well to add balance to this grouping of photos and embellishments.
The anchor from the Lovely Words 6 set also holds some symbolism describing the way Wilson is always able to bring a smile to her face, no matter how grumpy she may be with us, or how she may be feeling about the day she had at school.
There are several came themed flair buttons in the shop. You can see them all here. Hope you've been inspired to pull out your flair and get scrapping.
