Still working on killing some kits from 2013 and I came across this kit from Cocoa Daisy and some photos that worked perfectly!
I had fun digging through my odds and ends stash as well as my {flair} stash. I found some sets I've been holding on too and they fit perfectly.

I don't know about your part of the world, but here in Belgium it seems as though spring has made its' appearance. Trees are blossoming, birds are singing, and the sun is shining. Time for a spring inspired layout, so I thought.
Spring in my book is light and airy and fresh. So I focused on soft tones, I even used some vellum behind my picture instead of patterned paper. To the background white cardstock, I added some subtle floral stamping in a mint color.
This layout is a combination of old and new products. The chipboard butterflies have been in my stash for a few years, but since I'm in a dehoarding kind of mood, I thought it was time to use them. I added one of the Script Words Flair to the largest butterfly, the perfect sentiment for this layout.

Popping in to share a page about the totally spoiled Canine in our home.
Wilson became a part of our family in April 2009. I am a woman who learned almost promptly after having my first baby to "never say never". I was never an animal person growing up, and never saw myself with a dog, but alas here we are.
As soon as I saw these woodgrain flair buttons, I knew I wanted to use them on a simple white background page so they'd pop.

Hi everyone, Diane here with a travel mini album. Last year my hubby and I were fortunate to take an amazing trip to France and Shelley made some awesome travel flair for me to use. It took me awhile to figure out what type of mini album I wanted to make but I'm glad I took my time and waited for inspiration to hit me. :)
In the end, I decided to use an old recycled book. I changed my favorite photos into watercolors using an app called Waterlogue, then I printed them on fabric. I love how the photos look as watercolors on fabric, they are like little works of art!
Here's a look at the inside pages. Some journaling is on the pages, but most is written on tags and tucked in between the pages.
I used the Travel Phrases 1 and 2 flair sets. They are the perfect for highlighting the details and special moments of a trip.

Erica here today on the blog. Since I'm from sunny Southern California, we've been in Spring mode for.....well, we never really had Winter. Unlike a lot of you, I *love* winter and I kind of miss it.
I took these photos of my son in the Sping of 2009.
These were some awesome monster rain boots Target had one year. Even though we had no rain, he loved to wear them. I also refer to him lovingly as 'my little monster'. This was also the perfect layout to use up some of my older flair on.
Here is another layout where I dug through my flair stash to find just the perfect one.
And one last layout. I had a couple of dog themed buttons from one of our Blog Hops from last year.
With all of the new flair being released, I thought it was time to give some of my older flair some love. I typically select a set because of the images or phrases. Sometimes I do not have an immediate use for them so they get stored in my flair stash. I just moved so my craft space has been completely redone. I keep a container on my workspace where I can easily reach for them. My favorite activity is to dump out the designs and sort through them.
Its a 9 drawer plastic bin. Each drawer holds a 'theme'.
I tried to keep the themes generic so I would always have a way to sort.
When I get my flair, I typically sort them into what kits they match. When I buy paper or get kits in the mail, I try to find pictures to go with them. The flair goes in there as well. Once I make the layout or project, the unused flair gets sorted here. I save them for later projects. Its fun to dump out a drawer to find that perfect 1-2 pieces for a layout.

Hi Flair friends, Mary-Ann here on an average Tuesday, trying to wish warmer weather upon us all! We were fooled the other day with warm weather during the day and a snow storm that night. We can not win.
When I saw this swim flair, I thought that I would be using on swim lesson photos but found these instead. When my recent Studio Calico kit came in the mail, I knew exactly what I was going to do. I found this free watercolor card offered by Anna-Maria Wolniak, gathered my Freckled Fawn OhDeerMeKit, Chic Tags, sequins and my favorite flair.
First I decided where I was going to place my photos, then the watercolor card. Once I placed them I started with my watercolors to help blend the free card into the base paper. Added all of my embellishments, machine stitched my title and I was almost done. I then framed my boys photo and added the dark and light blue flair with touch of stickles and pearl dots.

Sherri here, with some everyday inspiration for you. I love 'around the house, everyday moments' types of pages. They are probably what make up the majority of my scrapbook. They are, afterall the majority of what life is all about in between the big events like birthdays, anniversaries, recitals and such.
So when my daughter grabbed my phone from me while we were just laying together sharing some downtime one day last week and snapped this photo, I knew it would make it's way into my albums.
The Home2 Flair set was perfect for this layout. I've been saving it for just such a layout as this.
Shelley has so many flair sets that would be perfect for documenting the everyday including this brand new Chalkboard Day In My Life set.

Hi, Daniela here with a layout I created several months ago. I used Weekly Review by Ali Edwards stamp set and Label Steel die. I like to experiment with different techniques and for this layout I used a triangle stencil and a black pen to draw inside the triangles. I used watercolor crayon to color those triangles.
I used two different flair sets: Hashtag Summer Flair and Tell Your Story 3A Flair. Both sets have a variety of designs to be used for many different occasions. These two matched the layout and that is how I usually choose them.

Hello there! Ashli here with you today to try on a trend...
I think trends are fun. I really do. I always welcome them as a good excuse to try something new. But, I must admit that sometimes, I can be a skeptic. Even the biggest trends can sometimes leave me wondering why on earth I would want to do that...
And then there is the part of me that doesn't want to do something that everyone else is doing.
However, I firmly believe that stepping out of one's creative comfort zone is the best way to grow as an artsy craftsy person.
So, over on my blog... purplemailbox.com, I am starting a new video series entitled "Trying On a Trend." For our first video, we are going to look at the increasingly popular brush script trend. And it seemed fitting that FLAIR be involved as well. Why? Well, for one... I just love it. But also I feel like the graphic nature of FLAIR badges in their fun colors and solid circular shape will be the perfect contrast to the free-form nature of this brush script trend.
Let's have a look, shall we?

Hi everyone, Diane here! I finally got around to making a layout for my 2014 One Little Word...Shift.
The design was inspired by this pin in my Pinterest Inspiration Board.
The title was created using some mist and a paint brush...written by me!
The One Little Word 2014 flair is perfect for OLW or resolution layouts...definitely one of my favorite sets from the shop.
LOTS of fabulous new sets were added to the shop last week, make sure you swing by and pick up your favorites.

Hi flair fans! Els here. I love to work with a lot of white space on my projects. I love experimenting with white-on-white even. The subtle effects, the play of textures intrigues me.
For today's layout I added some texture to the background by spreading out a layer of gesso. After the gesso dried I spritzed some water in it and added a few touches of black distress ink and let it bleed. Where the color was too strong, I took some away with a paper towel. I let it spread out and then let it dry. I love this watercolor effect.
When my son was little over 2 years old, he often would shout out #pu cooj when he was actually trying to say super cool. I really wanted to capture that on a layout.
Since I was going for this black and white look, I choose to go for a matching flair from the More Cameras set. I'm a big fan of these handwritten flairs since they match with so many different projects.

I'm here to share two layouts I ceated recently using some flair from the shop. I tend to hoard my flair. I use it on almost every project, but I still hoard it. I have some random bits that come with my sets and I hold on to them knowing that some day, they will go perfectly with what I'm working on.
The first layout is picture from a photo shoot I did with my son around his 6th Birthday last summer. We went to a local park and I took photos of him doing the things boys do. I got some great shots.
I used the Studio Calico speech bubble misting template to sketch out the various bubbles down the side and then I hand stitched them. I cut paper to fit inside some of them and others, I added random bits of flair from my collections.
The second layout features a bird from the Oceanside Pier. He's there every day, he has a name (can't remember it) and the locals all know him. My son was fasicnated with him the day we visited a friend down there. I don't normally scrap photos like these but the bird kind of made an impression.
I hand stitched the title again as well as the anchor and bird.
Run to the shop and grab some of the *NEW* sets of flair or add to your collection with some older sets. You can't go wrong!

Mary-Ann here today....
I think grandparents purposely give children presents that they would never of given their own kids!! You know, things like drum sets and paint! My parents arrived after Romans birthday with a Science Experiment book. Yes, fun to look at! Not fun to clean up after. However, I must say some of the things we did were really interesting and fun! We stripped a raw egg of its shell, we changed the colors of pennies, we layered liquid and learned about density, some of us (not me) foamed at the mouth with baking soda! We even tried to suck an egg down into a bottle. That we were not successful at. Of course I lingered around while all these experiments occurred, I couldn't miss it!
Not long after our day of playing with science, I found some really cool cards in my recent Project Life kit from Studio Calico. They matched my vision perfectly!
How fitting is this "love this" flair to help emphasize how much I love this photo?
Adding just one Flair to a project can speak volumes.

Hi, Daniela here! I think flair adds that perfect touch to any project especially cards and that is where I love to use them the most. I typically use just one on a card and most of the time it matches the colors of the project.

Hi there lovelies
Been a little while since I posted here over on the blog..
Got the itchy hand the other day and wanted to create with some nautical feeling products, so I remembered I had that beautiful At Sea Flair and it was the perfect addition to this card...
I created a stenciled background, added a tag and die cut anchor and finished off with some stamping and of course who could resist to add the anchor flair from the At Sea Flair..
I adore blue so this was right up my alley to use these colours on this card..
Here's hoping it has inspired you today to pull out that flair and be creative..
