Hey folks, Mary-Ann here with you today to talk about and share with you my take on the ever popular, December Daily. I thought I would share with you how I organize my collection of December goodness. I started with the Studio Calico December Daily as my base but have added different collections to help enhance my project. My intent was to keep things simple this year, but somehow, things have a tendency to get away from me:o) I have many old or antique catch-alls that help me with organizing.
I just love these little metal cups from an old bakery, perfect size for small bits and flair!
In case you were wondering, my space no longer looks this neat. (Notice the Wookie pen in my cup?) Once I start, every thing I own is out and strewn all over! But, the result is worth it. Here are a few pages from my Daily that include flair.
This is my title page. In a book like this, with plastic protectors, I add the flair to the top of the plastic. Keeping in mind where I have placed flair on previous pages and try NOT to place them in the same area. This will help keep the bulkiness to a minimum.
We decorated our tree right after Thanksgiving so I thought I would include one November page in my book. I contemplated using this flair, it is my favorite one! I should just order more!
December 2nd includes some older Flair. Perfectly fitting for the mischievious elf in our house!
December 6th highlights our Christmas card. I wanted it to be more of an elegant page. The elf photo throws that off a bit but the addition of all of the silver keeps it fancy! This flair is layered on top of two staggered snowflakes and is placed on the outside of the plastic protector.
Thank you for stopping in today. The Flair you see can be purchsed in the Etsy shop.
