Hi, Els here today. Last week I finally decided I wanted to do a December Daily album (yes, I know! ...). Shelley had send me some of those amazing December Daily flairs, and I got so eager to make an album. But having not finished my DD last year, I was hesitant. But then again, I make several mini-albums a year, I've never not finished one of those. Why would I not finish this one.
So I dug out a bunch of my favorite flair, which were fitting the color scheme I had in mind for my cover. I worked on a BasicGrey mini-album with woodgrain embossing on the cover, which I first painted white.
I cut a deer with my Silhouette Cameo. The papers I used are from Studio Tekturek's Peachy Christmas collection, a new Polish manufacturer. The kraft December Daily flair fits perfectly with the papers.
On the spine I adhered the December 2013 flair onto a white snowflake, so I can immediately see what's in this album when it's sitting on my shelves.
And now I just have to finish the inside of the album *wink*.
Thanks for stopping by here today! I hope you have a great end of the year, and my best wishes for the new year to all of you!
Els.
