My new toy....

Oh my gosh! I have been waiting for something like this! Now I can do all my own binding. Best of all I can cut chipboard, transparency, tags, envelopes, pictures, and the list goes on! Here is a sample of what I am doing with my Zutter Bind-it-all (http://www.binditall.com/) Look in the Bind-it-all photo album for my vacation album. I used the new Making Memories travel paper and stickers, Lil' Davis transparency, Catlife Press stamps, as well as Autumn Leaves stamps. To make the album pages I used DCWV chipboard mat stack! Great stuff! I can't wait to make albums in whatever size I want and to bind them  too! 

                                                                                       

I believe in Gosh....

That is what he said. "I believe in Gosh". We had stopped to pick up a new Adventures in Odyssey CD to listen to when Jordan picked out a cross necklace he wanted and spoke those words. I guess those talks about not using God's name in a bad way paid off! It just made me smile so I had to share! I believe in Gosh too!

When I saw this "M" from EK Sucess at Michaels (on sale) I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it! I had several leftover pictures from Mexico that I needed to use! This letter is an Art Blanche 3D letter. It measures 15" x 10" and is flat! I just used Modge Podge to adhere my pics, trimmed the excess, and sanded the edges. I then used my collection of Thickers to spell Mexico!

Flip flops!!!

This is the new paper line from Reminisce called "Beach Party"! I cut my shapes with the Cricut then laminated the paper and layered the flowers and tied it to the flip flops! It turned out pretty cute! I am working on a beach bag and visor to go with the flip flops! I will post those pictures when I get them done tomorrow! I can't help myself....

I have never done this but I am taking my kids to the 10pm sneek preview of Shrek the 3rd! We have been waiting for this one! (Also, can't wait for Pirates!!!) I mean tomorrow is Friday.....right?! Anyway, there are only 9 days of school left!!! Woo hoo for Summer!!!!

Mother's Day slideshow...

This was a Mother's Day I will never forget! The girls planned a lunch for us complete with roses, a game of Catch Phrase, and a mini scrapbook. I had so much fun seeing everyone and enjoying some down time with the girls! Thank you girls for such a wonderful day!

How cute are these!!!!!!!!!

Aren't these just cute as can be! Jenna and her friends are planning a surprise Mother's Day lunch tomorrow and so each girl made a paperbag album for their mom! They turned out so cute! I am in on the book making and the taking of pictures of each girl and her mom and then a group photo of us all tomorrow! It should be a lovely time! Happy Mother's Day to all you moms!

my dollar book....

Here are a few pics of my scrabook from the Dollar Tree. It was originally sold at Target but made it's way to the Dollar Tree! I used the new "Vibe" paper, stickers, rubons, transparencies, and journaling spots from Creative Imaginations/Danelle Johnson. I also threw in a few pieces of Rusty Pickle's Summer Island and Pashmina paper! Fabric strips decorate the coil binder.

I finally got some pictures of him....

It seems that many of my photos and projects lately have been of Jordan and Jenna and I thought to myself.....where's Kirk?! I finally got some pictures of him on his opening night of baseball! He did a great job at the game and I am just glad to have some pictures of my other favorite guy (besides his brother Jordan)! Love ya Kirky my boylie!

Scrapping was a success...

I got a lot done this weekend. I am so happy. I finished Jenna's Prom album, finished my Mexico $1 album, made 6 soccer lunchbag albums for Jenna's soccer girls, and made a couple of layouts. Lots of great company, food, and new scrapping goodies! Thanks Lisa! Here's a look at Jen's album....thanks to Ali for the great Cat'slife Press stamps. I used one on the back of the album!

I am so proud of her....

This week Jenna was inducted into the National Honor Society. She was one of a handful of students chosen for this award. Jenna has taken some very challenging courses this year (Anatomy, Chemistry/Organic Chemistry, Algebra II, Spanish III, American History, and Religion) all while playing volleyball, basketball and soccer. I don't think she realized how big of a deal this was until she got to the ceremony. I am so proud of the wonderful young woman you are Jenna and I hope you know how awesome you are! You are so beautiful inside and out!

I am so excited to spend my weekend at Reminisce celebrating National Scrapbooking Weekend and getting some much needed work done. Reminisce is hosting a 33 hour crop! Woo hoo! Jenna just loves playing soccer and it's fun to watch her! She really works hard and she has done very well. Go, Jenna, go!
