(waving happily)
This is my first Flair For Buttons post.
I am SO excited to be part of this amazing group of people! I love Shelley's scrap projects as well as her button designs and I am very inspired by the work posted here by my other team mates.
This week I have a couple of messy pages to share. Both were made with the "Believe" flair button set.
I used American Crafts Amy Tangerine sketchbook embellishments as well as some nail polish to gloss up the Scrap FX chipboard.
I've been experimenting with water colors a lot lately. This page needed some retouching in Photoshop after all the playing and splattering but now I have a better sense of what works with this medium and what doesn't.
Another project:
For this page I cracked open my paper safe and used some beloved and much hoarded Sassafras paper.
I went a little crazy with the vellum punches but I really like the final page. I had to double up the birds to get them to leap off the page (and into visibility). Vellum is challenging to shoot properly but I love using it to make embellishments that don't suck up a lot of visual space.
Have you been experimenting with different materials or techniques lately?
Leave a link in the comments section and I'll swing by to check it out!
Thanks for stopping by!!
Michelle
